How to find work

On the topic of finding work my college roommate once told me, it's not what you know, but who you know. One day I was walking in a shopping mall and stopped at a sunglasses kiosk where a guy was working. We started chatting about school and work and he asked me if I had my visa. I told him I was legal and then he said the best way to find work is through your networks. That's how he got his job and he told me I should look in the Korean community because white people don’t like people from other countries.
